I was in a car accident that totaled my vehicle. When I decided to purchase a new vehicle, it was important to me that the vehicle be exactly what I wanted, right down to the color and options. The dealer that I began to work with said that he did not have the color of car that I wanted, but that he would locate the car and do a dealer trade for me.
Everything seemed to be going well, so we began to work out a price. We came to an agreement that if he could get the car I wanted, I would pay 500.00 over invoice. When I explained that I was not willing to compromise what I wanted, he then told me that I would have to be willing to “pay” for getting that car. I was so frustrated that I left the dealership.
